Cleansing Operative

The Cleansing Operative position in Camden, N1C 4PD involves maintaining public areas to a high standard.

Working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:30, you will empty bins, collect litter, and move waste to designated points.

This temporary role pays £14.80 to £14.85 per hour.

You should work independently, manage your time effectively, and pay close attention to detail. Physical fitness is necessary for outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions. Reliability and punctuality are essential for this community focused role, ensuring welcoming spaces for everyone.

About the role

We are looking for a cleansing operative to help keep Camden clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively
• Basic problem solving skills and ability to use initiative
• Full driving licence
