About the Role

Hours per week: 6am - 2.15pm

As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will coordinate and lead a team of cleaners to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all site users.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate people skills or experience coordinating a team, ensuring all members are motivated and tasks are completed efficiently
  • Arrange for adequate training, inducting, and supporting colleagues to understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met, addressing any issues promptly
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained in good condition
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided
  • Address any operational issues or challenges that arise, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations
  • Ensure all activities comply with COSHH and health and safety regulations on similar sites/environments
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a similar environment or with transferable skills, knowledge, and understanding
Qualifications
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of work, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Strong communication skills, essential for client liaison and effective team coordination
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards
