What you'll do
  • Deliver consistently high cleaning standards across all assigned areas, including production spaces, offices, welfare facilities, and hygiene areas.
  • Carry out a wide range of cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising, vacuuming, and waste removal using appropriate equipment.
  • Operate cleaning machinery and tools safely, ensuring correct use of all chemicals in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including COSHH and general health & safety requirements.
  • Take responsibility for allocated work areas and complete all tasks to a high standard.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and shift documentation.
  • Report any faults, damages, hazards, or incidents promptly and complete relevant reports.
  • Respond positively to ad hoc requests and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to uniform and PPE requirements at all times.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attend training and contribute to ongoing personal development.
What you'll bring
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety practices, including COSHH (or willingness to learn).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A reliable, hardworking attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks, work pressures, and shift patterns, including lone working when required.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and reporting issues.
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
  • Previous cleaning or industrial experience (if applicable), with an understanding of maintaining high standards in busy environments.
