Cleaning Supervisor

Salary from £15,482.16 to £19,352.71 per annum for 20 to 25 hours per week.

• Supervising the Domestic Assistants to ensure a timely and efficient Housekeeping Service
• Liaising with student residents to encourage responsible use and care of residential facilities
• Managing attendance, performance and conduct
• Assisting the Head Housekeeper and Head of Housekeeping with their responsibilities
• Liaising with other departments, including Maintenance and Accommodation, as required

This is a hands on position, so you must be comfortable getting involved in cleaning tasks when required. This is not an office based role, and only 10% of the weekly working time will be spent on administrative duties.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Substantial cleaning experience
• Strong initiative, a proactive approach, and the ability to lead by example
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety provisions
• Proficiency in email and database use
• A good command of the English language

The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a flexible approach to tasks and able to work without direct supervision.

Hours: 20 or 25 hours per week, Monday Friday (some weekend work may be required). Daily unpaid 30 minute lunch break. Potential flexibility on start/finish times.

Annual salary: £15,482.16 - £19,352.71 for hours per week (Step 33). In addition, an attractive benefits package is offered.
