WorkingHours:Monday to Friday 15:30-18:30 (15 hours per week)

Pay:£12.21 per hour

Location: Percy Hedley - Northern Counties School, Tankerville Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 3BB

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An excitingopportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for anexperienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team inJesmond.

The successfulcandidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaningtasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and whenrequired.

Thesuccessful candidate will require enhanced DBS clearance prior to starting.

Please note: If you have worked or lived overseas for a period of more than 3 months in the last 10 years, you will need to provide a police check from that country.

Dutiesinclude:

• Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaningspecification is completed, as per the siteinstructions
  
• Emptying of bins,ensuring recycled waste is disposed ofcorrectly
  
• Attending tospillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within anefficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure siteand staff safety
  
• Following H&Sand COSHH regulations
  
• Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
  
• Proactiveinteraction with on-site clients and customers, offeringsuperb customer service.

• Carrying out anyother reasonable managementrequests
