With a new hourly rate of £12.92 per hour on weekdays, £18.22ph for weekday nights (after 8pm) & Saturdays, and £23.64ph for Sundays and Bank Holidays, there isn't a better time to join the team!
As a Cleaning and Catering Assistant, you will be helping to support the clinical team in their delivery of a high standard of patient service and clinical care to the people of our local population. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean & hygienic environment, whilst providing a catering service to our inpatients. Your main responsibilities will be to clean the hospital to the required standard following NHS cleaning protocols; you will lead in the cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas. You will also be responsible for the serving of food to our patients, providing a basic catering service.
Main duties of the job- Monday to Friday 16:30-19:30 - 15 hours a week
- Monday to Friday 17:00-19:00 - 10 hours a week
- Two week rolling rota (Nights) - 21 hours a week
- Monday to Friday 13:30-19:30 - 27.5 hours a week

- NVQ Level 1 or cleaning experience in a similar field.
