Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within our retail store. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

£12.21 per hour. Part time hours available.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the store, including floors, shelves, counters, and toilets.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Clean glass surfaces such as windows, mirrors, and display cases.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock levels.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Respond promptly to spillages or cleaning emergencies.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Good physical fitness (role may involve standing, lifting, and bending).
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
