To carry out all cleaning duties as required of you. You will perform these duties in a professional manner and strive to exceed customer expectations.
You will take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.
Various working hours are available including part time.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To arrive ready to work in a timely manner prior to the start of your shift.
- To ensure that all cleaning duties undertaken are completed to the highest standard.
- Take instruction from management and work as part of a team.
- Use initiative to complete tasks without supervision.
- To be courteous and helpful to patrons.
- To comply with the Client s and Cirka s company rules.
- To maintain a high standard of discipline and appearance.
- To develop a good knowledge of the site to enable efficient working practices.
- To have knowledge of required reporting procedures and follow them.
- To take responsibility for ensuring that customer service quality is never compromised.
- To take responsibility for all uniform, consumables, equipment, machinery and vehicles used.
- To undertake any such additional duties as required by your line manager.
Health & Safety Duties
- Participate in training and communication on safety matters.
- Ensure that the Cirka safety image is reflected positively through your actions.
- Ensure that you have the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties.
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work.
- Report any broken, damaged or hazardous plant and equipment to your line manager.
- Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.
Tasks of the Role
Thorough cleaning of all elements in your area in addition to any other tasks as directed by your line manager. This may include the following:
• Dusting, vacuuming and washing down of all areas
• Cleaning of windows
• Polishing of mirrors, brass plates on doors and furniture
• Dusting of ledges, pictures, high areas and skirting boards
• Shampooing of carpets
• Cleaning of curtains and furniture
• Cleaning of all toilets and basins
• Restocking of toiletries, soaps, towels, toilet roll etc.
• Emptying and cleaning of bins
• Litter picking
• Sweeping and pan & brooming
• Pressure washing
