Job Description

Job Title: Clean Air Service Engineer.
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £28k - £43k + Training + Benefits

Our client is an industry leading provider of Clean Air products and Services in the UK. Due to continued success, they are now seeking to take on a Clean Air Service Engineer to join their team in the South of England. You will be responsible for carrying out the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of a mixed range of clean air systems working in line with manufacturing guidelines and client timeframes. This role would suit someone who comes from an ISO 9001 accredited company, looking to join a forward thinking and continuously growing company.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Cheshunt, St Albans, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Luton, Slough, High Wycombe, Oxford, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Brackley, Reading.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Clean Air Service Engineer for an established ISO 9001 accredited Clean Air company.
  • Holding the BOHS P601 is essential to the role.
  • Well versed in industry relevant Health and Safety Guidelines.
  • Excellent IT skills will be able to produce reports and detailed site drawings.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience.
  • Familiarity with using industry relevant chemicals.
The Role
  • Attending a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of clean air systems including: LEV, HVAC, fume extract, and safety cabinets in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Testing and clarifying HEPA filters and cleanrooms in line with client needs.
  • Undertaking biological decontamination using VHS (vapourised hydrogen peroxide) and other required chemicals.
  • Attending emergency and pre-planned maintenance checks on systems.
  • Upselling and promoting clean air products and services to new and existing clients.
  • Working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Liaising with clients, maintaining, and continuing to build professional relationships.
  • Using information from site to create and submit detailed reports.
  • Ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timeframes.
