We are working with a well-established specialist SEN school in Canterbury, supporting pupils aged 4-19 with a range of complex needs including autism, severe learning difficulties, and communication needs.

• Deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual needs
• Support pupils with ASD, SLD, and complex learning needs
• Work closely with teaching assistants and a wider multidisciplinary team
• Focus on communication, life skills, and engagement as well as academic development
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

• Smaller class sizes with additional adult support
• Less focus on rigid targets, more focus on meaningful progress
• Strong emphasis on relationships and holistic development
• Opportunities to work alongside therapists and SEN specialists
• Ongoing training and clear development pathways

• Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred)
• Background in mainstream or SEN education
• Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
