About the role:

A welcoming and inclusive school in Bourne is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September. The school is committed to providing a high-quality education within a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and align with the national curriculum.

  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.

  • Differentiate learning activities to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles within the classroom.

  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and ensure positive outcomes.

  • Establish positive behaviour expectations and implement effective classroom management strategies.

  • Foster pupils' social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic achievement.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents, and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training, school events, and wider school responsibilities as required.


Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching within a primary or secondary school setting.

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching and learning strategies.

  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire pupils and promote progress.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting the individual needs of all learners.

  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to professional practice.
