Job Description

We're working with an inclusive and forward-thinking primary academy seeking a committed Class Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis.

What you'll be doing
  • Teaching a high-quality, broad and engaging curriculum that supports strong progress for all pupils

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet a range of needs

  • Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil development and attainment

  • Identifying pupils with SEND or those working at greater depth, working closely with the SENCO to provide targeted support

  • Building strong professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, including meeting parents at least three times per year

  • Leading a subject area and taking responsibility for pupil progress across the school

  • Creating a well-organised, safe and nurturing classroom environment with high standards of presentation

  • Engaging in professional development, weekly meetings and appraisal

  • Supporting safeguarding procedures and logging concerns in line with policy

  • Contributing to wider school life, including clubs, events and sports activities

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's vision and values

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
