We are seeking a professional and reliable Tanker Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting liquids and other bulk materials using specialised tanker vehicles. Duties
Operate tanker vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition.
Load and unload liquids or bulk materials at various locations, following all safety protocols.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during transit.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or specialised equipment as required.
Requirements
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving licence (CDL) preferred.
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed or tanker vehicles.
Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting bulk liquids or goods.
Ability to operate large vehicles with precision and care, maintaining organisational standards at all times.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules efficiently.
Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
