Class 2 Driver

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Class 2 drivers to work with a leading company in the aviation catering sector in Stretford. This role involves transporting goods between sites and airport locations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while adhering to strict schedules and aviation security protocols.

Flexible shift pattern

• 4 on, 2 off

Pay rates

• 17.00 GBP hourly

Must-have requirements

• Holding a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Maintaining a valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Demonstrating previous Class driving experience
• Following aviation security and health and safety procedures
• Passing required background checks for airport access
• Showing reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic

Desirable requirements

• Holding previous experience in aviation or airside logistics
• Having experience with multi-drop or time-sensitive deliveries
• Demonstrating knowledge of airport security processes
• Holding a clean or low-points driving licence
• Having experience with manual handling and loading equipment
• Showing strong communication and teamwork skills

Role responsibilities

• Transporting goods safely and efficiently between sites and airport locations
• Loading and unloading vehicles in accordance with safety guidelines
• Managing time-sensitive deliveries to meet strict operational schedules
• Operating heavy goods vehicles in compliance with road and aviation regulations
