Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers inDartford to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisations for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

- Shifts: Regular, ongoing shifts
- Experience: Experience is preferred, however we will consider newly passed drivers.
- Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
- Completing 2 delivery runs
- Loading own vehicle (hand-balling)
- Multi-drop Deliveries
- Working in a 1 person or 2 person crew
- Delivering to Customer Homes
- Heavy lifting (flat pack items)
- Climbing Flights of stairs where lifts are not available.
- Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork
As you are delivering to customer homes, deliveries are room of choice, meaning furniture can be required anywhere within the customer's property - including upstairs, downstairs, back gardens etc.
As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.
About youYoumusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.
You must also be comfortable with manual handling and working as part of a delivery crew.
