Chew Valley Dairy are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transport team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations Monday to Friday (start time 4.00am) while ensuring timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
Transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
Communicate regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
Skills
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
