Class 1 Driver - Ad Hoc

Manpower is looking to recruit a Class 1 driver (C+E) to work at one of the largest confectionary distributors in the UK, based in the York area.
Working HoursOn average, 2 to 4 shifts per week are required on an ad hoc basis to cover extra workload, holidays and sickness - regular hours cannot be guaranteed.
Working on average 2 to 4 shifts per week. - This is ad hoc requirement to cover extra work load, holidays and sickness so we cant guarantee regular hours
Pay Rates- Day Drive: £20.37
- Night Drive: £21.17
- Shunting: £22.16
- Meal Allowance: £10
Minimum of 6 hours paid per shift, with an average shift length of 8 to 12 hours.
Responsibilities- Drive loads and unload if needed.
- Perform shunting work.
- Engage in heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, and twisting to move items.
To be considered for this role you must have 18 months or more Class 1 driving experience, no more than 3 points on your licence, and no disqualifications. The successful candidate will be put forward for a 3 hour assessment/induction on site followed by 3 days of training.
Induction & TrainingInduction and training are paid.
