As a CLaD Hub Facilitator, the role is to deliver Continuous Learning and Development via a catalogue of skills-based training programmes and life experiences that help Individuals who choose to attend our CLaD Hubs, progress towards achieving their own full potential, and gain confidence through their newly acquired academic and social skills competencies. The role with support individuals with from both intellectual and mental health services. This Job Description relates to all CLaD Hub Facilitators. Please note, this Job Description is a summary of the role, nuances exist within each specific CLaD Hub, and these will be captured within the traditional, department and role specific key task lists (KTL's). Nua Healthcare Services 2024 The purpose of the role is to deliver continuous learning and development to individuals who choose to attend our CLaD Hubs. To facilitate access to and support throughout our skills-based training programmes and community based life experiences. To support team members, developing their knowledge, so they in turn can continue to support the individuals they support, to learn and develop their competencies outside of the CLaD Hubs. The post holder will contribute to overall day to day management of the team members of the CLaD Hubs ensuring the highest level of quality services is always delivered to Individuals.

- Manage, co-ordinate and oversee all aspects of the CLaD Hub, its training and curriculum programmes in line with Nua Healthcare ethos, values, policies, and practices, including budget, rostering, leading, and developing teams through best practice performance management systems and supports, implementation of relevant documentation outlining supports for Individuals, ensuring the service is delivered in compliance with relevant legislation and contractual requirements.
- Facilitate &/or deliver all training/curriculum programmes, including literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, independent living skills, my health & well-being, creative art, social skills,etc.
- Oversee & supervise any projects specific to the CLaD Hubs, such as building, carpentry, upholstery, gardening & landscaping, maintenance, etc.
- Oversee & host any cultural national & international field excursions.
- Promote good relations with neighbours, community resources and other agencies towards the promotion and development of services and community integration.
- Promote & nurture person-centred planning using key worker systems and shared goal setting, always maintaining confidentiality.
- Identify supports and work in partnership with the individual, their family and other supports as outlined within individual plans, promoting maximum opportunities for community involvement.
- Organising necessary meetings and overseeing all communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Overall responsibility for safety and maintenance of assigned facilities to include CLaD Hubs, vehicles, and PPE for both Individuals and team members.

- The role of the Facilitator assigned to any Mobile CLaD Hub within the service, will have responsibility for transporting of the Hub to locations across the country, as required, and facilitating supports including individuals from external organisations. Will have responsibility to facilitate and deliver all training/curriculum programmes, as well as responsibility for restoration project(s) based at the facility.
- The role of the Facilitator assigned to the Abbey Blooms Garden CLaD Hub will have responsibility for maintenance & gardening at Abbey Blooms Garden and responsibility for supporting, coaching, development and supervision of interns introduced to the facility. Will have responsibility to facilitate and deliver all training/curriculum programmes.
- The role of the Facilitator assigned to the Abbey Blooms Café CLaD Hub will have responsibility for Café Management & Event management and responsibility for supporting, coaching, development and supervision of interns introduced to the facility. Will have responsibility to facilitate and deliver all training/curriculum programmes.
- The role of the Facilitator assigned to the Little Island CLaD Hub, will have responsibility to facilitate and deliver all training/curriculum programmes, including literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, health, social skills, play and art therapy etc as well as responsibility for restoration project(s) based at the facility.
- The role of the Facilitator assigned to the Fairgreen CLaD Hub will have responsibility for networking with external organisations to support individuals through the Mobile Hubs, monitoring & ensuring full capacity of the Mobile Hubs, and overseeing & hosting any national & international excursions and exchanges. Will have responsibility to facilitate and deliver all training/curriculum programmes.
- The role of the Facilitator assigned to the Chapelview CLaD Hub will have responsibility for developing & maintaining a plant/vegetable garden and general maintenance of the Chapelview service. Will have responsibility to facilitate and deliver all training/curriculum programmes. Relevant qualification in Social Care desirable, and/or qualification in Education, or any professional trade, (level 7)
2-3 years' experience,
Train the Trainer Certificate (FETAC level 5), desirable.
Full Clean Irish Drivers Licence essential
