Civils Site Manager

Our client, a large civils contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Manager with civils experience to join their team on a project in Cork City.
OverviewAs a key member of the project development team you will be leading in the development of an exciting project. Here, we are continuing to grow and develop projects with long-term, stable, career development opportunities for experienced Site Managers in a variety of locations upon completion of this project.
Duties and responsibilities- Supervision of sites, employees, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Management and delivery of the project programme and procurement needs in conjunction with the procurement and QS team.
- Ensuring the project is delivered as per the agreed scope.
- Maintenance of accurate documentation on site including full management of the H&S file.
- Ensuring that all H&S measures are in place to safely deliver any project and maintain the highest standards of H&S management.
- Managing the communication of the project through the necessary channels.
- Overall responsibility for managing quality on site and delivering the highest possible standards of quality for all projects.
- 3 years+ experience as a Site Manager on civils projects.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure the projects achieve the required quality.
- The ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects including programme management and procurement delivery, all while keeping a firm eye on quality.
- Health and safety must always be paramount.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Self motivated, ambitious and dedicated.
- Analytical and decision making skills.
- Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and industry specific software.
