Location

The position is based at our project in Darlington, ON. The successful candidate should be local to Darlington, Oshawa, or surrounding areas, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the comprehensive work package with construction and engineering teams.
  • Provide status reports on project milestones and schedule adjustments.
  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of project documents, design drawings, as-builts, and turnover documents.
  • Ensure construction activities adhere to policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication between field trades and design engineers for problem resolution.
  • Forecast and track change orders and scope modifications.
  • Manage site procurement activities, including material validation, requisition preparation, and traceability.
  • Establish and maintain interfaces with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop detailed work plans with construction leads.
  • Maintain high standards of final product quality.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings with project personnel.
  • Perform safety inspections and promote safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related Technology diploma, civil discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of project engineering experience in construction or EPC environments.
  • Experience with Nuclear Quality Programs is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
