Are you an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor (3+ years' PQE) looking to take the next step in a fast-paced, forward-thinking firm? BW Legal are by no means a traditional law firm. Trusted by our clients to protect their brand and reputation, and with one of the highest success rates in the industry, we're looking for an experienced Solicitor to join our Civil Litigation team and add value from day one.
What we're looking for- Strong commercial awareness, with experience successfully settling complex legal disputes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- The ability to advise clients on matters of varying complexity, identifying risk while delivering innovative and practical solutions
- Experience litigating small claims, fast track and multi-track cases, with an advanced working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and drafting complex legal documents
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, including paralegals and support staff
- The ability to analyse legal precedents, legislation and external factors that may impact the business or our clients

What you'll be doingYou will manage a diverse civil litigation caseload across a range of sectors, including:
- Utilities
- Financial services and telecommunications
- B2B contractual claims
- Private parking and statutory penalties
Your role will involve managing Civil Litigation matters such as:
- Money claims
- Rent recovery
- Enforcement proceedings
You will also be responsible for overseeing and supervising work, including:
- Case assessments and advising clients
- Drafting complex legal documents, including statements of case, applications and correspondence
- Providing general legal updates and briefs
You will work 7 hours per day, ideally 9:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, although other shift patterns will be considered for the successful candidate. The role is based full-time at our Leeds office.
With a starting salary of £45,000, reviewed annually, however we welcome applications from more experienced candidates and will review salary based on PQE / experience.
