Overview

Our client is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their Cambridgeshire office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to take on a varied caseload with the option to cover contentious probate.

Position overview

Offering a salary of around £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits (including holiday, pension, health cash plan, and flexible/agile working), this role provides long-term career security as you will support a seamless transition from a retiring senior lawyer. My client is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation in the region. They provide high-quality legal services and pride themselves on their supportive and professional working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied caseload of civil litigation matters.
  • Advising and representing clients across a wide range of disputes.
  • Handling contentious probate matters (desirable but not essential).
  • Delivering high standards of client care and professional service.
  • Working as part of a supportive team with responsibility for succession planning.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Strong civil litigation experience across a variety of matters.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Contentious probate experience is advantageous but not essential.
