An established and growing consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil / Infrastructure Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key technical role within a respected practice that delivers high-quality civil and structural engineering services across residential and commercial developments.

The RoleReporting directly to the management team, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage projects, working on schemes from concept through to construction. Typical responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage, and sustainable systems (SuDS).
- Developing drainage strategies and flood risk assessments.
- Preparing designs and documentation for Section 104, 106, and 278 agreements.
- Managing technical submissions and liaising with clients, local authorities, and project teams.
- Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Supporting and mentoring technicians and junior engineers.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your projects, working closely with senior staff and clients in a collaborative and technically strong environment.
About You- Experienced Infrastructure Engineer, ideally with a background in residential or commercial development.
- Proficient in Site 3D and AutoCAD 2D/3D, or similar software.
- Confident managing projects through all design stages, including construction support.
- Strong technical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing team.
