We are working in partnership with our client in Manchester who are growing and looking to take on a Contract Civil Engineer, and we're looking for a talented ContractCivil Engineer to join the team. About

You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your work, contribute to innovative design solutions, and play a key part in shaping the built environment across the region.

Key responsibilities
  • Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and reports
  • Work on drainage, highways, earthworks, and external works design
  • Use industry-standard software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Support junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practice
About you

We're looking for someone who brings both technical skill and a proactive mindset. Ideally, you will have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Progress toward chartership (ICE) or already chartered
  • Strong experience in civil infrastructure design
  • Proficiency with relevant design software
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • A collaborative approach and a desire to grow within a supportive team
