Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. You will be working as part of a small team on a spectrum of Civil Infrastructure projects of varying sizes. You will work with Seniors, Associates and Graduates on Projects in the Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors. This is an opportunity for an engineer early in their career to join a driven, collaborative team with exposure across all Civils disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members and colleagues across Civils disciplines on a range of infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to earthworks, Cut and Fill analysis, Drainage Development design, site development and road design for residential, commercial, and industrial sites (residential sites range from 10 - 1000 units).
• Support design development and project delivery within budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• About 3 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS, Microdrainage / Info Drainage.
• Strong understanding and design capabilities for Section 278, S38, S104, S106 applications.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to infrastructure design and construction.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week; BST: 8:00-18:00 (Mon/Thu) and 8:00-16:00 (Fri).
