Christmas Sales Assistant

Be More Geek is looking for enthusiastic Christmas Sales Assistants to join the team in Sunderland and help us through our busiest and most exciting time of the year.

Christmas at Be More Geek is fast-paced, busy and great fun. You'll be helping customers find the perfect gifts, keeping the store looking its best and making sure everyone who walks through our doors gets the friendly, knowledgeable service we're known for.

Whether someone is hunting down the perfect Funko, looking for Pokémon, buying for a collector or has absolutely no idea what their teenager has asked for, you'll be there to help.

What you'll be doing:

• Welcoming customers and delivering brilliant customer service.
• Helping customers find products and offering recommendations.
• Learning about our products so you can confidently talk to customers about them.
• Promoting key products, new releases and gift ideas.
• Working on the till and handling transactions accurately.
• Replenishing stock and keeping shelves full and well presented.
• Keeping the shop floor clean, tidy and organised.
• Supporting merchandising and displays.
• Helping the team manage deliveries and stock during busy periods.
• Working together to keep the store running smoothly during the Christmas rush.

What we're looking for:

You don't need to know everything about every fandom. We can teach you the products.

What matters most is that you:

• Are friendly, confident and comfortable speaking to customers.
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Can stay organised and focused when the store gets busy.
• Are reliable and punctual.
• Are happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
• Have a genuine interest in retail, customer service or pop culture.
• Are comfortable recommending products and helping drive sales.
• Can work flexibly across the Christmas period, including key Christmas holidays, weekends and busy trading days.

Previous retail or customer service experience is useful, but it isn't essential. The right attitude is more important to us.
