Chiller Engineer

MS521 - Lead Chiller Engineer Location: AndoverSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annumOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Lead Chiller Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for repair & maintenance of chillers, air-handling units and pumps ready for hire. You will also assist with the day-to-day running of the chiller test & repair department. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain chillers on return from hire.
• Manage a small team, managing discipline, attitude, time keeping, absence.
• Diagnose faults and repair of chiller, and related equipment.
• Ensure all paperwork and F-gas Documentation is correctly filled in and filed.
• Obtain details and order parts for repair as required.
• Ensuring equipment is clean and in good condition for hire.

Skills and Qualifications:Essential:

• Experience as a Lead Chiller Engineer / Supervisor.
• F-Gas Certificate.
• City of Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration.
• 3 years' experience in Refrigeration / Air-conditioning.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Good time keeping / Work ethic.

Desirable:

• Electrical Qualifications / experience.
• Forklift License.
• Previous experience of HVAC hire industry.
