Children's SW - Locality Team - Bedfordshire

Responsibilities

• Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans.
• Conducting home visits and engaging with children, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support and interventions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as necessary.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker status with a relevant degree (BA/MA in Social Work).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
