Children's SW - Family Placement Team - Bracknell Forest Borough

Bracknell Forest Borough is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Placement Team, specializing in children's services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing tailored care plans.
• Conducting home visits and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.
• Working closely with foster carers, adoptive families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Participating in multi agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
• Providing advice and support to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working within children's social services, particularly in family placement or fostering.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families.
