Job Description

Join our dynamic Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Lincolnshire, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We are seeking qualified social workers who are committed to providing high-quality assessments and interventions to support children in need.

As a member of our Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to ensure the safety and well being of children.
  • Collaborating with multi agency partners to provide integrated support services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social care.
