Childrens Support Worker

MPA Recruitment are recruiting for a Children's residential Home for children with learning disabilities, complex health needs and who display behaviours which challenge.

What does the job entail?

• Assist with the care and supervision of the children and young people who are resident in the home.
• Work in partnership with the keyworkers to ensure care plans can be developed.
• To work with children/ young people and their families, on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to achieve positive outcome.
• To work co-operatively with children's services, health agencies and other community-based services, to provide the most effective service for the children/young people and carers/families.
• To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures

Criteria-

• (Essential Criteria for Band 4) Hold a level 3 education qualification in care and1 years' experience working in a children's residential setting
• Registered with NISSC
• Willingness to do mandatory inhouse training
• Must complete Enhanced Access NI check yearly.
