This role offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well being of vulnerable children in our community.
As a Children's SSW within the Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi agency partners.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date case records in accordance with statutory guidelines.
- Participating in regular team meetings and supervision to ensure high standards of practice.
- Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognised social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register).
- Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
