Children's SSW - Assessment Team - Cardiff

As a Children's SSW within the Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi agency partners.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date case records in accordance with statutory guidelines.
• Participating in regular team meetings and supervision to ensure high standards of practice.
• Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognised social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register).
• Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
