Children's Home Manager - Thamesmead

We are seeking a Children's Home Manager to lead our residential service for children and young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and/or a history of mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, promoting a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
- Oversee the daily operations of the home and ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement with a focus on achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes.
- Manage budgets effectively while maintaining a focus on quality care.
- Support, supervise, and develop team members to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and energetic individual who is committed to excellence in care and outcomes.
You will need:
- Proven experience managing a children's residential home.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a residential childcare setting (within the last 5 years).
- At least 1 year of experience supervising or managing professional care staff.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, Registered Manager's Award, or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks.
- Passion, resilience, and a drive to make a lasting difference in children's lives.
