Join our dedicated Family Help Team in Lincolnshire as a Children's Assistant Practitioner (AP) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. As a Children's AP, you will work closely with experienced social workers and other professionals to provide essential support services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the assessment and intervention processes for children and families in need.
- Supporting social workers in developing and implementing care plans.
- Conducting home visits and engaging with children and families to understand their needs.
- Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in accordance with policies.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to case discussions.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Social Work or a related field, or equivalent experience in a social care setting.
- Knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
