An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner to join Leeds Children and Young Persons Mental Health Service. The post holder will work as part of the CORE team, a dynamic and busy multidisciplinary team. CORE stands for: Enhanced Support.
The team specialises in specialist assessment, formulation, and intervention for young people up to the age of 18 and their families, placing the needs of children and young people at the heart of what we deliver.
Main duties will include working with children and young people and their families within homes and clinic settings, attending team meetings, participating in MDT formulation and case discussion, triaging referrals, and responding to calls as duty clinician. The role is patient facing and requires work from within a base. Training will be provided on evidence based, mental health focussed interventions and active leadership support. You will also participate in reflective practice and continuous professional development.

Applicants must be registered with NMC, SWE, HCPC, or ACP and should have previous experience working with children and young people with risk and complex mental health needs. The role requires registered mental health nursing or an equivalent professional registration.
