We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to support children and adults with disabilities and complex needs in Meath and surrounding community. The Role Support clients in their homes and communities, helping them live independently, safely, and with dignity. This is a varied and rewarding role working with a range of care needs. Key Responsibilities Support daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, shopping) Assist individuals with disabilities and complex needs Prompt medication in line with care plans Promote independence, wellbeing, and community engagement Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans Core Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) Patience and empathy Ability to build trust with children and families Observation and reporting skills Ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly Practical Skills Depending on the role, you may need: Personal care skills (feeding, dressing, toileting) Knowledge of assistive equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, hoists) Supporting communication methods (e.g. visual aids, PECS) Supporting routines and structured activities Working Hours 37.5 hours per week (guaranteed) Shifts between 8:00am - 9:00pm 4 long days (8am - 9pm OR up to 6 shorter days (8am - 5pm) per week as required Every second weekend Weekly rosters provided Benefits Fuel card Discounted health insurance Increasing annual leave with service Your birthday off!
