Are you a dedicated Childcare Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced and motivated solicitor to join their well-respected Family and Childcare team

The Role:

You will handle a varied caseload of public law children matters, working on behalf of local authorities, guardians, and parents. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding cases, supported by a collaborative team of experienced professionals

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse caseload of care proceedings, child protection matters, and adoption cases
  • Representing clients in court and liaising effectively with counsel and other professionals
  • Providing clear, pragmatic, and compassionate legal advice
  • Supporting the wider family law team with ongoing casework and business development initiatives
About You:
  • 2+ years PQE with solid experience in public children law
  • Confident advocate with excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Able to work autonomously while contributing to the firm's supportive culture
