Job Title: Childcare Practitioner
Location: Hagley Primary School
Hours: 13 hours 45 minutes per week (Monday Friday 2:45pm 5:30pm) or 11 hours per week (Monday Thursday 2:45pm 5:30pm)
Salary: £6,534 - £8,350 per annum (Grade 3.5)
Job Type: Part time - Permanent, Term Time Only
About the RoleThe Hagley Wrap Around Care Club provides a breakfast and after school provision for children attending Hagley Primary School. We are looking for two highly motivated and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioners to work as part of our team in the After School Club. You will be providing quality playcare for children and supporting their social, emotional and physical development, including those children with special educational needs.
ResponsibilitiesProvide quality playcare for children, supporting their social, emotional and physical development, including children with special educational needs.
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working with children and show initiative
- Be committed to providing children with a high quality and enjoyable experience
- Have high expectations, together with a caring attitude and flexibility
- Know how to provide a safe and secure environment for the children
- Have experience delivering childcare activities
- Lots of energy, patience and a positive, hardworking attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Commitment to inclusion and equality
- DBS check or willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Experience in delivering childcare activities
- Confident, well behaved children
- Enthusiastic, dedicated and friendly staff

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before appointment is confirmed.
