Child Support Assistant - Harrogate - D943B

A Child Support Assistant is required to support a 10 year old boy with indoor & outdoor activities during school holidays. The boy loves being outdoors and going for walks, he is non-verbal and can get stressed in certain situations.

Please note: The boy is a twin and his sister also requires similar support (please see job ref: D943G)

Location: Harrogate

• Must be reliable, caring, patient and enjoy working with children.
• The role will involve assisting with day to day care and engagement in age appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the child are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Driver with a car, clean driving license and business insurance.
• Experience of working with autism
• Trustworthy
• Can build a positive and supportive relationship with a young person.
• Having a calm and friendly manner is essential

Hours

20 hours per week are for during school holidays = (13 weeks per year/260 hours per year) which are flexible.

Pay Rate:

• £13.79 per hour, Specific arrangements can be discussed further with suitable candidates.
