Job Description

Join The Lighthouse - Specialist Child Sexual Abuse Advocacy Roles

The Lighthouse is leading the UK's response to child sexual abuse, and if you are passionate about supporting children and families through the criminal justice process, we want to hear from you.

We are recruiting a ChISVA to join our multidisciplinary team in Camden. Serving North Central London and influencing practice across the UK, The Lighthouse brings together police, health, psychology and advocacy in one child-centred, trauma-informed service. Our model improves recovery, health outcomes and children's experience of the justice system.

In these roles, you will provide direct advocacy and support to children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard, their rights understood, and their needs prioritised throughout the justice process. You will work closely with social workers, CAMHS clinicians, paediatric staff and NSPCC partners, contributing to holistic assessments, safety planning and trauma-informed interventions. You will also act as a key point of contact for families, helping them navigate the criminal justice system, understand available support, and access services safely.

We are seeking trained ChISVAs with experience supporting children who have experienced trauma or abuse, strong safeguarding knowledge, and confidence working independently and as part of a team.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace whose teams reflect the diversity of the children and families we support. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and other ethnicities, and from men, who are underrepresented in our service in order for us to provide a service that reflects our children and family's experiences and uniqueness.
