Job Description

Our client's mission is to offer excellent and innovative printed products, quickly and without fuss. To achieve that, they are involved in all aspects of the value chain from product design, development, IT and systems, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, customer service, and retailing. Currently experiencing significant expansion, they are looking for a new executive board member through the appointment of a high calibre Group Technology Director.

This key role will take ownership across the IT Network, SystemERP, CRM, production workflow, order management, API and EDI setup with other retail customers, accounts systems, and outside Web agencies.

Candidates must demonstrate considerable experience managing .Net programmers; understand e-commerce platforms; managing applicable WordPress and similar web agencies; understand print production and SAP type ERP systems.

Our client recognises that they will strengthen through fresh eyes and an outsider's perspective, so they are hoping that their new recruit will pass on knowledge and know-how to enhance capabilities, improve efficiencies and move forward in a more strategic way.

  • Proficient in leading at a Senior Manager level or above within a fast-paced, multi-division company
  • Confident in defining, communicating, and driving value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes
  • Capable of shaping, aligning, and guiding execution of strategic direction for a domain or significant portfolio segment
  • Aptitude for communicating, influencing, and developing relationships with functional and technical leaders, with high-level vendor partners, and across all levels in the organisation
  • Ability to select and lead strategic vendor relationships or act as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships
  • Accomplished in managing and developing direct reports with their own span of control - providing leadership, mentoring and coaching
  • Qualified to utilise deep market and industry knowledge for a related portfolio segment or domain to achieve strategic objectives
