Job Description

At Ecology, we dare to be different. We're dedicated to building a greener society by providing mortgages for properties and projects that respect the environment and support sustainable communities, funded through our range of simple, transparent savings accounts.

The Chief Commercial Officer will play a key role in unlocking Ecology's next phase of growth. Following the successful completion of a major core banking transformation, the Society is now focused on turning this investment into stronger performance, an even better Member experience, and greater impact.

The Chief Commercial Officer will lead the development and delivery of the Society's product, distribution and Member strategies. They will drive growth across mortgages, savings and membership, helping bring Ecology's products and services to more people through a broader mix of intermediary and direct channels. As a member of the Executive Team, they will make a vital contribution to strengthening the Society's financial resilience, expanding its impact, and supporting sustainable long-term growth.

This role is designated as a Senior Manager Function (SMF18) under FCA rules. The Chief Commercial Officer will hold specific regulatory responsibilities, ensuring the Society remains compliant and that Consumer Duty is fully embedded in everything we do.
