Chemotherapy Staff Nurse (Bank) - Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital Oncology Bank Contract Part-time Up to £35.00 per hour

Main duties- Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients during and after chemotherapy sessions, ensuring their well-being.
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on chemotherapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families coping with the challenges of cancer treatment.

Job responsibilitiesAs a Chemotherapy Staff Nurse on our Oncology Unit at The Manor Hospital, you will drive the standard in patient care. You are registered with the appropriate governing body and have post-registration experience, including NMC where applicable. You will:
- Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and a team worker.
- Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients during and after chemotherapy sessions, ensuring their well-being.
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
Qualifications and experience- Registered with the appropriate governing body, with qualifications and experience relevant to the registration, including NMC where applicable.
