Chef de Partie - Bourne Leisure Ltd.

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Pay: £16.32 per hour

We're looking for a talented and driven Chef de Partie (CDP) to join the kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their culinary career in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Section Management

• Take full responsibility for your assigned section
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standards
• Work closely with Sous and Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations

Food Prep & Service

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items during service
• Ensure mise en place is fully prepared ahead of shifts
• Support other sections as required to maintain team flow

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene in your area
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP procedures, allergen control, temperature logs, etc.)
• Adhere to all kitchen health & safety protocols

Teamwork & Development

• Collaborate with fellow chefs and kitchen porters to ensure efficient service
• Take direction from senior chefs while showing initiative and pride in your work
• Actively participate in training and development opportunities

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a CDP - Those without Chef experience will not be successful.
• Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality
• Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 a bonus)
