Chef - Nags Head, Bishops Stortford

Nags Head, Bishops Stortford is a long-established family run pub that will be re opening mid May after refurbishment.

We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our team full time, commencing training early May.

The right candidate will have a positive, hands on approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per company specification, ensuring guests return again and again.
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completing all related paperwork.
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring proper storage of food.
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience working within a busy kitchen is essential; further training and development will be provided in house and in our Development Kitchen in Hertford.
