Job Description

Role: Chef Manager
Location: Carrigtwohill, Cork
Salary: €48,000

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Chef Manager in Carrigtwohill, Cork.

This is a hands on leadership role combining kitchen operations and office based management responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 4 chefs while ensuring exceptional food quality, customer satisfaction, and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of 4 chefs.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality food for approximately 200 customers daily.
  • Manage kitchen administration, ordering, and reporting.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Control food costs, stock levels, and kitchen budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and customers.
  • Maintain an organised and efficient kitchen operation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong culinary and people management skills.
  • Experience managing food costs and stock control.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to balance operational and administrative responsibilities.
  • Customer focused approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast paced environment.
Essential Criteria
  • Must have experience in Hospitality.
  • Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in the career.
  • Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
  • Visa and Relocation packages are not provided.
