Duties &Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-dayoperations of a busy school kitchen, ensuring smooth service and highstandards.
- Prepare and delivercolourful, healthy, and delicious meals to pupils across two sites in theNew Malden area.
- Inspire and manage a teamof enthusiastic kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborativeenvironment.
- Oversee food safety,hygiene, and health & safety compliance at all times.
- Organise kitchen schedules,stock, and resources to maximise efficiency.
- Collaborate with seniorleaders, including Directors and the Company Development Chef, toimplement best practices.
- Minimise paperwork andfocus on hands-on leadership and team development.
- Support the introduction ofnew processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- City & Guilds / NVQqualifications or equivalent in-house training.
- At least 2 years'experience as a chef with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding ofFood Hygiene and Safety standards.
- Experience in contractcatering and managing a medium-sized kitchen (preferred).
- Positive, outgoing attitudeand a genuine passion for food and teamwork.
- Eager to learn, adapt, andgrow with a dynamic company.
- Looking for a term-timeonly role, with school holidays off.
- A manual driving licence

Working Hours are30 hours per week
38 weeks per year
We are looking fora candidate to start on 1st September however we would like to startpaid training before that date, to ensure they succeed in their new role.
