The Peninsula London is excited to announce that we are seeking a Chef de Rang to work within our Peninsula Boutique & Café, responsible for all activities relating to preparation, stock levels, and service espresso and helping to create memorable experiences within this unique service offering. The Peninsula Boutique & Café is a signature offering from the company, for fast paced food on the go without compromising on luxury and quality.
Key AccountabilitiesPerform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.
Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, and proper service. Focus on the sequence of service standards.
With excellent knowledge of food and beverage items, you will also ensure you both attend relevant training and then deliver and train the F&B Attendants.
General RequirementsGood knowledge of food and beverage with an emphasis on wines.
Experience of 1 year or more within the food and beverage department in a luxury hotel and an understanding of the 3 main meal periods and demands.
Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence to guide a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
