Overview of the CompanyThe Borrowdale Gates Hotel is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our hard working kitchen staff. We are searching for a talented person to help us maintain our excellent culinary standards at our 2 Rosette restaurant, which delivers an amazing dining experience.
Responsibilities- Make and create high quality food that meets our 2 Rosette criteria.
- Ensure all food is made to the best quality and presentation.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in developing new dishes and menus.
- Contribute inventive ideas to enhance the restaurant's reputation.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.
- Monitor portion control and waste to optimize profitability.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, keeping the kitchen safe for food preparation.
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and maintained.
- Experience as a Chef de Partie in a high end restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods and best practices.
- Passion for creating flavorful and well presented dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full time position.
