Chef De partie

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Malvern College and contribute to high standard catering services for our students.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook menu items as directed by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
• Assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and new service concepts.
• Assist with stock taking when required.
• Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section.
• Work as a team player, assisting other team members when necessary.
• Treat members of the team at the location with the same respect you would expect.
• Demonstrate and instruct Commis Chefs in food preparation and cooking skills as directed by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
• Adhere to the company's hygiene, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
• Attend all health and safety training courses as required.
• Rigorously follow unit cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level C or above.
